Join us on September 25th at Echo and Bounce for an evening of select in-person readers (plus a mystery guest), exhibiting local artists, drinks and ramen!
And the theme? Completely open – send us your best.
The first of many, Jacaranda Salon is our contribution to Brisbane’s ongoing tradition of live reading events. We invite emerging writers [currently enrolled at or alumni of UQ] to submit their works of short fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. From submissions, our team will select the six pieces that resonate with us the most, and the stage shall be yours.
This month, that stage is Echo and Bounce, an independent café, arts and community space nestled in Woolloongabba. Alongside readers, we’ll also be showcasing a selection of local arts displaying and selling their works.
