Jacaranda Journal 12.2 Memento Mori
Out Now!

'Memento Mori is an invocation of death and an invitation to remember. It is the charred remains that lay on scorched earth. At its core, it is an interrogation of life—of how we carry ourselves closer to our deaths from the moment our cells start to decay, and how we might take control of how our stories end.

In this edition of Jacaranda Journal, we offer only this reminder. We make art of our deaths and in doing so we master the art of dying.

Death defines us, and in this edition of Jacaranda Journal, we endeavour to define death.'

In the latest edition of Jacaranda Journal, discover outstanding works of fiction, poetry, art, and non-fiction from some of Australia's brightest established and emerging writers and artists including Katherine Rosonakis, Donna Mazza, Jemma Lyall, Juliearna Broughton, Madi Lee, Alex Trueman, Rob Stanley, Rebecca Wickham, and many others.
