Jacaranda Salon

Jacaranda Journal hosts a reoccurring live event for writers to read their works of short fiction, non-fiction, or poetry to an audience of enthusiastic peers. In addition, we'll be hosting a market of local artists and creatives to share their works with you. Due to limited capacity, we can only accept RSVP ticketholders into the salon audience, but the artist market is walk-ins friendly, and Echo & Bounce will be running their infamous Ramen Night.

Whether you’re keen to read your work live or have writing that doesn’t align with our current journal theme, the Jacaranda Salon is for you. Anyone who submits and RSVPs to the salon will be entered into our prize pool (to be revealed) - you don't even need to be picked to read! Submissions open until Friday 7 August.
